    Description

    This antique French fan has a set of hand painted flowers on one side  and an extra layer of silk on the reverse. The spines are beautifully carved and very delicate. The fan has a silk tassel as well. The fan comes in its own burl wood box which is lines in off-white silk with off-white cording. It has  a working key. The condition of box and fan are remarkable: there is one small piece of edging missing to the wood box, and the lining appears to have some discoloration in the lid. The fan is in very good condition without breaks or damage.
    Measurements are: box: 12 1/2" by 2 5/8" and 2 1/8" tall.
