Antique White Marble Scalloped Beveled Edge Fireplace Mantel Top. Circa 1800’s. Measures 47”Long x 8 3/4” at the Widest Point. Good condition for it’s age. There is a chip on the top Beveled edge that measures about 1/2”. It is located the the right of the center. Also, the Beveled edges Show wear. There are two mounting holes on the back of this mantel at either end. I have not tried to clean this mantel in any way as some people may prefer it ‘as is’. No shipping! Pick-up only! Perfect time of year to drive to Cape Cod!
****UPDATE: I used a mild cleaner on the mantle and it does show a yellow section on one side. I’m not sure if it would or would not come out with a marble poultice or cleaner. Being that the mantle is antique I have no way of knowing how long it has been there. Please see the last four photos that I just added!****
