    Description

    Cast Iron Keyhole Andirons Pair Vintage Antique Primitive Heavy
    There is a design on the front of each (see pics)
    The front legs have a foot shape (see pics)
    Definitely very well used but still structurally in great shape.  No cracks or major chips
    The doglegs are very massive and have gussets in the bend (see pics)
    Each measures approximately:
    7 1/4 inch wide (across front legs)
    10 1/4 inch long (front to back)
    12 5/8 inch tall (to top of keyhole)
    5 3/4 inch tall (to top of dogleg)
    Rear of the dogleg measures approximately 1 5/8 inch x 1 7/8 inch square
    Keyhole at the top measures approximately 2 1/8 inch ID x 3 1/8 inch OD
    These andirons are very heavy.  Each one weighs approximately 14 lbs.
    There are no casting marks visible
    I'm not sure how old they are but they are d
    efinitely very unique pieces and look really cool.
    I believe they are rather rare as I have not see any exactly like these on eBay or the intranet.
