This is a Keuffel & Esser Co., NY ~ Slide Rule. It's beige / yellow in color. The piece is marked 4088-2 and is dated with two dates ~ Pat. June 5, '00 / Dec. 22, '08. The cursor is marked K&E, Co.N.Y. / Pat 8,17,15. There is NOT a case. The middle section slides easily and the cursor moves smoothly. Be sure you check out the full posting for pics. Thanks !

First of all, I know absolutely nothing about slide rules. I can only fully picture and describe this piece but be sure to ask questions if there is something I didn't cover.
The slide rule is made by Keuffel & Esser, Co., N.Y. The piece is marked with 4088-2 ( I believe .. it might be 4083-2. Be sure you look at the photos to determine). The slide rule has a middle section that moves. The ends look wooden. The cursor looks to be made of plastic. The side of the cursor is marked : K&E, CO, N.Y. / Pat. 8.17.15. The slide rule is dated .... Pat. June 5, '00 / Dec. 22, '08. The slide rule measures to be 10" long with the middle section flush with the ends. The wooden end looks like it has a 5 on one piece.
The middle section slides easily as does the cursor.
Overall .. This is a nice old Keuffel & Esser Co Slide Rule looking for a new  owner. Don't Miss Out .. This is a Buy It Now Listing !
