Late 1700’s Federal Fireplace Mantel. Late 1700’sFederal Mantel in good condition overall with a couple minor restorations needed. Will quote cost to repair if interested. The mantel is assembled with mortise and tennons and pegged which was common in the late 18th century. It features tapered legs, hand planed elaborate mouldimg and thick 1 1/4 “ stock. 52” high x 72” long. Top is 9 5/8 deep x 74 “ long. Interior box is 51 5/8” wide by 37 1/2”.
