    Description

    One pair of Harvin Brass "Dolphin" andirons. They do have deep patina, scratches and dings, especially to the bases.  2nd pair of dolphin log stops (Rare) are intact. They measure about 15" high, base is about 10-1/8" in width at the base, and about 21" deep. They are stamped 1004 A and 1004 B, with the Harvin Brass "makers mark". Will be shipped with the log holders separated to make sure it arrives as safely as possible.
    History: "In 1953 Charles Eckman purchased the company’s assets and formed “Virginia Metalcrafters”. Eckman rapidly expanded the company’s operations and, in addition to making such diverse products as lawn mowers and tractors, Eckman acquired the E.T. Caldwell Company (makers of Williamsburg reproduction chandeliers) and the Harvin Company of Baltimore, makers of decorative accessories and fireplace equipment.
