RARE ANTIQUE 20” DENNERT & PAPE ALTONA SLIDE RULE NO. 126499 in LEATHER CASE
This Very Rare Antique 20” Dennert & Pape Altona Slide Rule No. 126499 in its original Gilt Stamped Leather Case was made in Altona, Prussia in the early 1900’s, but I could find no date stamps on this one. Its 20 3/4” long, 1 5/8” wide and 3/8” thick, the wood of the center slide is 3/4” the celluloid plate is just a hair over 1/2”. It is made of rich Mahogany wood with beautiful marked Celluloid Facings that are screwed in placed, it has the metal framed glass cursor that slides easily as it should, and it has the German printed equivalents on the back side. There is wear to both ends of the leather wrapped case but otherwise its in very good shape as well for its age, and its done a great job of keeping this amazing instrument in such good condition. Your payment is due within 7 days unless previous arrangements have been made - I send an email invoice separate from what ebay sends you, shortly after your purchase is made that includes your total due and with my shipping schedule for the week. I would greatly appreciate getting a response from you within 24 hours of the sale that you have received my invoices and payment has either been made or is scheduled.
Your item will be mailed to you through USPS usually within 3-5 business days once your cleared payment has been received, sometimes sooner depending on my schedule that week. I charge a minimum handling fee on all my items and I add the cost of insurance in my handling fee for any item selling for more than .00 or that is considered Fragile. Once I have shipped your item off I will notify you with an email after I get back from town that your item is on its way and provide you with the tracking #, and I will leave feedback for you at this time.
