directed by Alvin J. Neitz
. The film features an all-star cast including Kenneth Harlan, Dorothy Revier, Alice Lake, Walter Hiers, Sam De Grasse and Cesare Gravina. The image features a nighttime exterior long shot of the American David Kent (
Kenneth Harlan
) courting the object of is desire, Maía Valdez, the virgin of San Blas (
Dorothy Revier
), seated on the edge of the balcony above him. The border artwork depicts a different character from the film and this card depicts actor
Walter Hiers
as The Chewing-gum Salesman.
It is unrestored in near-fine condition with just slightly rounded corners; an area of toning across the left 1/2 of the top border and along the edge of the bottom half of the left border; a 1 in. diagonal chip on the top right corner; a 0.75 in. diagonal crease on the bottom right corner; one pinhole in the background area to the right of Hiers' head and two pinholes in the background area of the main image. The color tinting on this set of lobby cards is exquisite and features deep rich colors, all of which are complimented by a bright yellow outer border around the image.
