This is the cover for a fireplace and has NO FLUTE.
This is PURELY decorative and what a statement piece!
This piece was salvaged from a home that was being razed.
I was told It was made  in 1970's.  This particular fireplace canopy was taken out of the kitchen.
This hood is well made and it banded with Copper on the top and bottom. I believe the middle is a painted Copper.
Approx.  Measurements: 39 Height 50.5 Width at bottom 33 Width at top
I did not personally take this piece off the wall but it came with an extra piece and I believe it was part of the bracket system.
As you can see from the pictures the front flairs out from the top to the bottom as well of the sides.
NO DENTS, RUST, BENDS OR WARPING .
You will be very pleased and will compliment any Mid Century Modern home.
