    Description

    A nice old pair of andirons made by Harvin. They have a scrolled design. They are just under 12" tall and are 11-1/4" deep. These would work well for a smaller fireplace. They are cast iron except for the finials, which are very heavy solid brass. They are marked with the round Harvin logo and with "CW-100-3" as well as the Colonial Williamsburg mark. The "CW" prefix was typically used by Virginia Metalcrafters in Williamsburg so, this may have been made for them. The condition is very good but, they do show age and use with the iron having some rust patina. I have not cleaned these up as some people like them this way. These should clean up well. if desired .
